Epsftouerite was first discovered by the priest Da̋ń Dä̂f̄̄ńr 'Deific Demi' Caw̋chī Ha̋s Cú̄ Raw̋nḱ Séoīsh within the Huj̼ Kēijash Maquis durring the late 18th century in early spring of the year 1780.
