Xauerite

Xauerite is a glassey smooth very glossey purple igneous rock Xauerite's properties are mostly mundane but augmented with natural magic and is uniquly useful in construction. Xauerite was first discovered by the mage Tsîrê Nuldztrÿkle within the Têlë-thèvê Woods durring the late 20th century in early spring of the year 1980.
