The City-state of Kaigi

The City-state of Kaigi (also known as Kaigi) is a a member of the League of Gnollish Cities, a loose alliance of nations in north western Eyom which loosly function as part of a greater whole. Its predominantly Gnollish citizens live within its 4,506 km², and primarily speak Zräysian.

Government and Politics

As with all of the gnollish city states, the City-state of Kaigi is ruled by a King or Queen. In Kaigi, the sovereign is always the head of one of the City-state of Kaigi's many clans, and supported by an ancient system of Kami based blessings and curses.

The ruling class of Kaigi are the heads of Kaigi's many clans, with few exceptions. Their authority is stable enough endure even fierce shocks, due to their current greatest asset, an expert spymaster serves it well. The largest issue currently facing Kaigi is an oppressed class is demanding not equal rights, but soverignty.

Millitary

The City-state of Kaigi's millitary is ahead of the curve for Eyom, with few problems and a few serious advantages. It favors a mixture of armored calvery and infantry, while using airships for close support and command centers. Kaigi's millitary makes use of advanced arcana above all else.

The millitary favors a doctrine of mission-type tactics in its millitary operations, but is willing and able to use others should the need arise. Kaigi's armed forces are entirly of volenteers, which generaly view themselves as warriors for justice who are the sword of Kaigi, by being an immovable wall.
