The Qënê-si Forest (/ˈqënɘ/ /si/ Moonvale [slow; late] [state (condition); condition (state)]) is a subtropical forest on the coast of the Upper Warding Range region. The Qënê-si Forest is home to Eyom's only known persistent lightning strike. Tourists are advised not to touch the bolt.
The Qënê-si Forest has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). The Qënê-si Forest receives an average of 68 cm/y (26 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. The Qënê-si Forest covers an area of nearly 7108 km2 (4417 mi2), and an average elevation of 8625 m (-14652 ft) above sea level.
